Ryan Meisel’s brand of jazz is modern and original while paying tribute to the history of American Jazz. The Ryan Meisel QuArtet delivers thought-provoking, dynamic, and spirited shows. Captivating audiences, Meisel expresses the story of his lifelong musical journey through song. Ryan’s brand of fiery saxophone playing pushes the group's improvisational limits. Meisel's depth of work pays tribute to the authentic sounds of New Orleans Traditional Jazz, Blues, Swing, Hard-Bop, Avant-Garde and Contemporary Jazz. The ensemble is made up of Milwaukee and Madison’s top jazz musicians. Guitarist Doug Brown, bassists David Dinauer, and drummer Adam Katz round out the group as they backup Ryan and his arsenal of saxophones.
