Feestet is a Madison-based six-piece band blending classic jazz sensibilities with a modern, genre-curious spirit. Known for their energetic performances and original compositions, Feestet creates what they call “gateway jazz”—music designed to delight jazz lovers while inviting in those who think they might not be.

Drawing on swing, soul, pop, and indie influences, their sound is fresh but familiar, pairing tight grooves and expressive solos with lush vocals and unexpected harmonic turns. With bandleader and vocalist Helen Feest at the helm, Feestet brings warmth, wit, and a deep love of live performance to stages across the Midwest.

Whether interpreting jazz standards or delivering high-energy originals like their fan-favorite “Roulette,” they aim to create music that grooves hard and welcomes everyone in.
